Marketing analysis of an exhibition "HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" by Krištof Kintera at the DOX temporary art centre

This bachelor thesis focuses on the marketing analysis of the exhibition "HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" by Krištof Kintera at the DOX Contemporary Art Center with a focus on students. The thesis focuses on students as they are one of the main target groups. The aim of the thesis is to find out what influences students when choosing an exhibition, furthermore what information channels are used when choosing an exhibition and also what role the attractiveness of the artist plays for the student. The whole thesis is divided into 2 parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part covers the evolution of the art museum, theory of art marketing, DOX Contemporary Art Centre, Krištof Kintera and the exhibition itself. The practical part contains research, which is divided into three parts - semi-structured interviews, analysis of communication activities and questionnaire survey. The final discussion includes an evaluation of the results and proposed recommendations.
Evil. Notion of evil in Art Education.

My thesis is focused on the concept of evil, and its implications in art education at middle school level. The theoretical part defines the comcept of evil from a historical standpoint through the study of pertinent research. This part includes interpretation of exhibition entitled "The Effect of Lucifer" from the contemporary art center DOX as well as Philip Zimbard's theories on evil. The lesson plans were created by analyzing the art pieces from the exhibition and by comparison of conceptual maps. The practical part shows the specific art lessons, followed by analysis. At the end of the work is a complete evaluation of the project and related research, which provides an art teacher with the knowledge to address this issue in the classroom.
Marketing Communication of gallery´s exhibitions

Bachelor´s thesis focuses on the current possibilities of using communication tools in museums and galleries focusing on marketing communication and promotion of exhibitions. The aim of the thesis is based on a research to design more effective marketing communications gallery on the example of selected exhibitions in the DOX Center for Contemporary Art. The theoretical part deals with the terminology associated with the areas of arts management and marketing communications. Studies dealing with marketing communications, galleries and museums focusing the use of the new possibilities of communication and participation in social networks are also included in the theoretical part. The practical part is focused on the analysis of marketing communication of the previous exhibitions at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art. Included are three interviews, with Zuzana Masná, from the DOX Center, and with two bloggers: Sandra Kisić and Anna Stránská. The research is based on the analysis of communication studies research and personal interviews. At the end of this part I will suggest the new possibilities for the use of marketing tools and ways to update the current marketing communications on example of the current exhibition Big Bang Data.
